Greetings, PassMeFast readers! Can you believe that we’re now at the end of September? Yikes! We’ll be digging out the Christmas decorations in no time! Before that happens though, you’ll want to take a seat, because we’ve got some great pass stories for you to sink your teeth into. Though we’re living through a difficult time right now, these learners haven’t let it stop them from achieving their goal of getting their full licence.
We’ve picked out our top five customer reviews from September, just for you! So, if you’re in need of some driving inspo to nudge you towards your own goal, keep on reading!
1. Making it worth every penny
Whether you opt to learn with a standalone ADI or a driving school, your learning journey will end up being a bit pricey. After all, you’re going to need to spend at least 40 to 50 hours with a DVSA-approved instructor in order to get test-ready. What’s important, however, is that you make sure the money you’re spending is going to the right place. Some driving schools have you spending far more than you need to, all in the name of a guaranteed pass that doesn’t actually exist. When you pick a school like PassMeFast, like Ray did, you can be sure that you’re getting as much bang for your buck as possible.
Due to his driving experience overseas, Ray originally booked onto our shortest refresher course: our 5 hour course. Once he set out on the roads around Lancashire with his instructor, Debbie. However, he soon realised he would need another 5 hours to get test-ready. Together, they focused on improving Ray’s skills with parallel parking, roundabouts and hazard awareness. Once his lessons were up, Ray ended up taking the practical test twice at Preston test centre, but it wasn’t meant to be. Fortunately, his Booking Agent, Sam, was able to quickly get him another test date. And what do you know? The third time was a charm! Here’s what Ray had to say about his experience:
“They’re pricey but so worth the money. I naively booked the shortest course thinking my experience overseas would be enough, but I was so wrong.
PassMeFast assigned me a driving instructor who made sure I was up to scratch, “tough but fair” and made sure every mistake or sloppy driving habit I had was scrubbed out.
What makes PassMeFast worth the money is their booking agents. They got my tests bookings incredibly quickly—on the scale of 2 or 3 weeks from when I requested it—and when I had to have a retest in the midst of the chaos of Covid, when the DVSA website was repeatedly crashing, overloading, and unusable, PassMeFast still managed to quickly get me a driving test slot, and I’m happy to say I’ve passed.
Thank you PassMeFast, you were worth every penny”
2. Attentive to your needs
When it comes to learning to drive, there’s no such thing as one size fits all. From their preferred lesson intensity to their ideal test date, no two learners are the same. It’s for this reason that PassMeFast not only offers a range of tailored crash course packages with complete flexibility, but also takes care to be attentive to any additional requirements a learner might have. This is something Charley found out first-hand.
She booked onto our 25 hour manual course and worked with instructor Nathan to get used to the roads around South Yorkshire. They also focused their time on getting Charley’s skills up to scratch with parking and roundabouts. Throughout the duration of her course, Booking Agent Jennifer kept in close contact with Charley to make sure she was happy with the pace and intensity of her course. It turned out that Charley was a better driver than she thought—she ended up test-ready with hours to spare! After passing her practical at Sheffield Handsworth test centre, Charley was celebrating her new licence! Here’s what she had to say about her learning journey:
“Amazing! Throughout the process I was constantly surprised how attentive the PassMeFast team were to make sure I was happy with my designated instructor and how lessons were going. They passed me so fast that I hadn’t used all my hours, I was not expecting a refund for this as it’s all pre-paid however they called up around a week later confirming my refund for the unused hours. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a fast track to their test, as soon as they know you’re ready they’ll book you in as soon as they can get!
A special thank you to Jennifer the booking agent and the whole PassMeFast Team.”
3. Helping you fall in love with driving
When you’ve had a bad experience with a driving instructor, it can be all too easy to fall out of love with driving. Plenty of people have even let it put them off driving for life! It’s no exaggeration to say, then, that instructors hold your driving fate in their hands, which is why it’s important that you pick a driving school that offers only the best instructors. PassMeFast’s fleet of DVSA-approved instructors are experienced with helping all types of learners—from those who are just starting out to those who have had poor tuition in the past. This was something Laraib was ecstatic to learn.
After learning with three instructors who left something to be desired, Laraib booked onto our 25 hour manual course and was matched with instructor Darren. Together, they worked on rebuilding Laraib’s driving confidence and sharpening his skills on the roads around Greater Manchester. Darren’s friendly and knowledgeable approach seemed to work a treat with Laraib—after finishing his course, he passed his practical first time at Sale test centre with only 1 minor! Way to go, Laraib! This is what he had to say about his PassMeFast experience:
“I booked with PassMeFast in June 2020 in order to pass my test as quickly as possible as I work in the NHS and need access to transport. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. They assigned me Darren. I was down because I had 3 previous instructors and they were awful. Darren however was the complete opposite. He is a very knowledgeable instructor, he worked at my pace, explaining things clearly and simply and ensured that any issues with my driving were ironed out in good time. Darren was easily contactable by phone and would respond to texts very quickly.
In addition to that, whilst professional, Darren made me feel very comfortable and at ease. It was truly a pleasure to have him as my teacher and without him I wouldn’t have passed 1st time (with only 1 minor)!!!
Thank you PassMeFast and thank you Darren!”
4. Making you believe in yourself
For some people, learning to drive is a piece of cake. They take their lessons and manage to pass first time without a hitch. Other people find it far more difficult to adjust to picking up so many new skills and building up their muscle memory, which eventually pushes them to believe that they’ll never get their full licence. This is something that PassMeFast doesn’t believe in. With the right instructor and number of lessons, anyone is capable of passing the driving test. This is something that Tessa was desperately in need of.
With brief driving experience in the past, Tessa believed that at 48, she would never get her hands on a full licence. She came to PassMeFast for one final try—booking onto our 40 hour automatic course. After passing her theory test first time, she took to the roads around Hertfordshire with her instructor Dane. By March, she had finished the majority of her lessons but due to the pandemic, she unfortunately had to wait a few months for the test centres to reopen. As soon as we were able to, PassMeFast snatched up a suitable test date and Tessa got to finishing her last few hours. Dane’s teaching style clearly suited Tessa, as she managed to pass first time at Bishop’s Stortford test centre with only 2 minors! Here’s what she had to say:
“I booked a course with PassMeFast in Jan and was ready for my test by March which unfortunately got cancelled due to Covid. Charlotte at PassMeFast was fantastic and got me booked in for the first available test when the test centres reopened which I passed first time with 2 minors.😀 I had my lessons with Dane who was absolutely great and I would highly recommend him because he’s friendly and his method of teaching works. I’d 100% recommend PassMeFast, they were great. Good luck everyone. I’m 48 and never thought I’d be able to drive but thanks to Dane I did it and you can too 😀”
5. Keeping our promises
There’s nothing quite as frustrating as buying something only to find out that there’s a ton of fine print involved. When it comes to finding a driving school, the last thing you want is to end up being offered dozens of empty promises. PassMeFast prides itself on being as transparent as possible and not offering anything that’s beyond our means. When we tell students that we’re going to help them get passed fast, we do everything in our power to make sure it happens—from fast-tracking their tests to finding instructors that match their requirements. This is exactly what Callum was after.
Once test centres opened back up the general public in June, Callum decided now was as good a time as any to get behind the wheel. He picked out our 35 hour manual course and added on a theory test. After passing his theory test without a hitch, Callum finally took to the roads around Derbyshire with his instructor Amaar. In addition to sharpening his overall driving skills, they paid close attention to the driving test manoeuvres, dual carriageways and roundabouts. Despite the practical test booking system crashing due to high demand, our fast-tracking team were able to snatch up a test date within the timeframe promised to Callum. Fast-forward to September and Callum is now a fully qualified driver after passing his practical at Burton-on-Trent! This is what he had to say about his journey:
“I booked with PassMeFast in June 2020 in order to pass my test as quickly as possible when test centres in Burton reopened. When booking, staff were very nice and were happy to answer any and all of my questions. I was assigned Liam as my booking agent. He was extremely attentive and went out of his way to answer all of my emails very quickly. Liam booked my theory test for me, I was able to take this quickly and without any problems.
Following this I was assigned a driving instructor, again quickly and without any problems. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a slight delay with booking my driving test, however they still managed to keep to the timeframe I was promised when booking, despite huge problems with the government booking website at the time. I even managed to get my test booked before standard booking website went live. All in all they were great and I would recommend to anyone looking to learn to drive, intensively or otherwise.”
