Season’s greetings PassMeFast readers! December is almost at a close and what a month it has been. PassMeFast HQ has been working around the clock to help learner drivers earn their full licence just in time for Christmas and the new year. (We’ve even just about managed to find the time to fit in a cheeky mince pie and glass of bubbly!) As you’d expect, we’ve got some great stories to share!

We’re going to take a look at our top five customer reviews from December. Who knows, if you’re looking for a New Year’s Resolution, these stories might be just the inspo you need to start your own learning journey in 2021!


1. Meeting your deadlines

The pandemic has thrown just about everyone and everything into a complete tailspin this year. Though we’ve had to contend with lockdowns and local restrictions, PassMeFast has tried to remain true to its main company goal: helping learners pass their driving test quickly. The moment that driving tests were back up and running again this month, our fast-tracking department was ready to grab those all-important test dates for hundreds of learners across the UK. This is exactly what Ethan was looking for.

With a baby on the way in the new year, Ethan was looking to get on the road and pass his test as soon as possible. He already had some driving experience under his belt, so he booked onto our 25 hour course in West Yorkshire. With waiting times as they are, however, he thought he wouldn’t be able to get a test until February or March. His CX Adviser, Anna, was determined to prove him wrong! She managed to fast-track his test to early January at Pontefract test centre!

Though he’s only midway through his course with instructor Hamid, Ethan couldn’t wait to leave a glowing review for Anna:

Throughout this pandemic it has been a nightmare with cancellations etc., but Anna D from PassMeFast has been an absolute star. She’s been so helpful with getting me my test rebooked. I needed a test date booked for mid January as my baby is due at the end of January, which I didn’t think was possible with the lockdown as so many people are booking and rebooking tests, but Anna has worked non stop to get me my test rebooked and has found me the test date I need. Thank you Anna you’ve been a really big help and you’re a credit to the company. Keep up your hard work.”

If there’s one thing that we could prattle on about all day, it’s PassMeFast’s fleet of driving instructors. Come rain or shine, these ADIs are at the ready to help learners build up their skills to become safe and confident drivers. Even facing a pandemic, these instructors have adapted and continued to help hundreds of learners across the UK. It’s this hard work and commitment that drew Charlotte to PassMeFast.

After having lessons in the past with a less-than-stellar instructor, Charlotte was on the lookout for a patient ADI willing to help her rebuild her confidence and ace the driving test. We were more than happy to help. We booked her onto our 20 hour manual course and matched her up with top instructor Alaa. As soon as the second national lockdown was over, they took to the roads around the West Midlands and got to work on mastering roundabouts and overcoming driving nerves. After taking her practical at Wolverhampton test centre, Charlotte passed on her first attempt! This is what she had to say about her PassMeFast journey:

“I had Al as an instructor. He was amazing! I get really nervous but he kept me calm and I managed to pass first time! it was work but paid off in the end”

3. Helping you cross the finish line

If you’ve had driving experience in the past, but haven’t been behind the wheel for a while, it can be frustrating trying to figure out just how many lessons you need to get test-ready. Enter: PassMeFast’s refresher courses. Designed to iron out bad habits, help learners master advanced manoeuvres and offer an overall confidence boost, our refresher courses are ideal for any learner looking for that last push across the finish line. This is just what Tom was in the market for.

Tom picked out our longest refresher course, our 15 hours, and was matched up with instructor Colin. In no time at all, our fast-tracking team found him a perfect test date in early December. The minute that the second lockdown was over, Tom and Colin set out onto the roads around Greater Manchester. Together, they focused on the driving test manoeuvres and polishing up Tom’s overall driving. Their hard work clearly paid off. After taking his practical at Bury test centre, Tom passed! Here’s what he had to say about his experience with PassMeFast:

“I hadn’t driven for a while so I decided to do the intense course and had 6 lessons before my test and passed straight away. My driving instructor was really friendly and taught me so much. Great way to pass your test in a hurry.”

4. Matching your requirements

When it comes to learning to drive, there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach. You’ve got to take into account the varying levels of experience that learners have, along with their availability and preferred timeframes. PassMeFast doesn’t believe in forcing learners to take time off of work or other commitments to fit in their entire course. You don’t adjust your schedule to suit your course; we adjust our courses to suit your schedule. With only evenings free for lessons, this is just what Nathan was after.

As he was only in the market for a quick refresher, Nathan booked onto our 10 hour manual course. We sorted him out with instructor Shahid, and once the second lockdown was lifted, they took to the roads around Greater Manchester. Together, they built up Nathan’s familiarity with the routes around West Didsbury test centre and got him up to test standard in only a few lessons. Seems like Nathan picked the right driving school—he passed with flying colours. As a man of few words, here’s what he had to say about his PassMeFast experience:

5. Shouldering all of the hard work

Learning to drive can be a pretty stressful experience. You’ve got to build up a large assortment of skills, get to grips with the format of the driving test and mentally prepare yourself for your big day. Add in the current pandemic we’re facing and you can see why we want to give all learner drivers a medal right about now! The one thing that our learners don’t have to worry about, however, is the admin side of things. If you make like Rosie, we’ll sort it all out for you!

Once Rosie booked onto our 10 hour manual course, we matched her up with Sheffield-based instructor Kevin. In order to meet her strict deadline of getting her full licence by early December, our fast-tracking team worked around the clock to find Rosie that perfect test date. As soon as it was booked in, and the second lockdown was at an end, Rosie and Kevin to to the roads and focused their attention on building up Rosie’s confidence and mastering the parking manoeuvres. After taking her practical at Sheffield Handsworth test centre, and passing first time, Rosie is now a fully qualified driver. Here’s her summary of her experience:

“I had an excellent experience with PassMeFast. In spite of the lockdown in November, they managed to sort my 10 hours of lessons AND my practical test within 7 weeks of when I first signed up with them. The instructor was excellent, and I passed my test. The CX Advisers were incredibly attentive and helpful, and I would definitely recommend.”
