Well hello there! Eager to see which PassMeFast students have landed a spot on our list of favourite February pass photos, eh? We don’t blame you! This particular bunch have had to battle through record-breaking storms (not literally, we hope!), swerve a deadly virus outbreak (no laughing matter) and stay focused on driving in the midst of a long-awaited Friends reunion announcement (we’re yet to pull ourselves together).
Yep, while the PassMeFast team were busy rehashing whether Ross and Rachel were really on a break and screaming “Pivot!” at the top of our lungs, these guys were out on the road getting driving test-ready. Let’s get to know the stars of our top 5 pass photos from the month of February…
An intense drive
First up on our list is Rio, who completed PassMeFast’s 15 hour automatic course in Lancashire. You might notice that this is one of our refresher courses, and that’s because Rio already had quite a lot of previous driving experience. She just needed more time to polish up her skills and practice the manoeuvres. And that’s exactly what she did, with a little help from driving instructor Ian.
Once her hours were complete, it was time to head to Blackpool test centre. Roughly 40 minutes later, we received the following picture:
Get in! Rio did us all proud by passing her test first time. Looks like she found a winning formula in intensive driving lessons! In fact, Rio can tell you about that herself:
“Amazing driving instructor Ian. Loved doing block lessons and getting everything spot on in those hours. Much preferred doing long lessons instead of an hour here and there. Learnt so much easier that way. Thanks so much to everyone at PassMeFast.”
Couldn’t agree more, Rio! Well done and enjoy hitting the road as a qualified driver.
Practice makes pretty much perfect!
It’s time to travel south to Essex, now, where the lovely Louis has been mastering the art of driving. He booked PassMeFast’s 20 hour course and soon hit the road with instructor Andrew. They spent the time fine-tuning and building on the skills Louis had built up during practice lessons with family.
While he professed to being a little nervous heading into his practical at the Chelmsford Hanbury Road test centre, it turned out he had absolutely nothing to worry about. Here’s the proof:
Not only did Louis pass the test, but he managed it on his first attempt while picking up just 1 minor. What a result! You should be really proud of yourself, Louis! We wish you the best of luck for your driving future (though it doesn’t sound like you need it!).
Got it in one
Hope you’re good at three point turns, because it’s time to change direction and head back up the country to Staffordshire! While we’re there, let’s check in with Sandri, who booked PassMeFast’s 10 hour automatic course.
She was already pretty good behind the wheel, but needed a refresher course that would give her enough time to get the hang of the manoeuvres. Thanks to her instructor Paul, she soon felt very comfortable performing bay parks, pulling up on the right, and even the dreaded parallel park!
Soon enough it was time to make the drive to Newcastle under Lyme test centre. And that’s where this happened:
Woohoo! Sandri passed her driving test first time and can now proudly call herself a fully qualified driver. Give yourself a big pat on the back, Sandri! Even though plenty of PassMeFast students manage to achieve a first time pass, it’s still no easy feat. Well done!
Can’t beat that buzz
For the next top pass photo on our list, we find ourselves back on home territory in Greater Manchester. It was here, on the roads of Wythenshawe, that PassMeFast student Karl completed his 5 hour refresher course.
His instructor Wayne helped him build up his confidence and work on his skills until he was fully test-ready. Next on the list was a trip to Hyde test centre. Let’s see how he did:
Karl aced it, of course! Pass certificate in hand and new licence in the bag. He was also kind enough to leave us a few words about his PassMeFast experience:
“Had my course with Wayne who was great and perfectly prepared me for the test. I took the 5 hour course and passed today. Absolutely buzzing!”
And the rest of Manchester is buzzing for you, Karl! Congratulations on a great achievement.
Talk about a comeback!
To round off this month’s festivities, we’re heading to next door to Cheshire, where PassMeFast student Victoria is from. In the past she had managed to reach test-ready status, but life got in the way and she ended up taking a 10-year break from driving.
Luckily, she knew exactly who to call when she was ready to get back on it! (Hint: it begins with ‘P’.) Victoria contacted PassMeFast and booked herself a course assessment to get an idea of what she would need to do to earn her licence. The answer? Complete a 25 hour automatic course, topped off with a fast-track practical test.
With the help of instructor Akbar, she got to work doing just that. Once the hours were up, they made their way to Sale test centre. You’re not going to believe what happened next…
Yes, OK, the fact that she passed her test probably isn’t much of a surprise, given the nature of this list. BUT, what you don’t know is that Victoria earned her pass with a completely clean sheet—not one minor! Here’s how the lovely (and very talented!) lady summed up her PassMeFast experience:
“After failing a few times ten years ago, I had absolutely no confidence in my driving abilities. But I passed yesterday after learning with Akbar, who was brilliant! Would highly recommend using PassMeFast, and Akbar in particular!”
We’re so thrilled for you, Victoria—bravo! Want to hear more about her incredible pass story? Hear from her in her own words by checking out our post on Victoria’s PassMeFast experience.
