Our Pass Photo of the Week—Sackson from Croydon!

Cartoon of gold trophy

It’s time to celebrate another fantastic essential worker! Before we launch into it, we just wanted to check in with you guys. How’s everyone doing?  We hope you’re coping well under the current circumstances. It ain’t exactly fun and games, but at the very least this lockdown is making us appreciate the little things in life!

In an effort to throw some positive sprinkles over your week, let’s take a look at a lovely new pass photo that landed on our desk a couple of days ago.

This week’s top pass photo of the week goes to… Sackson from Croydon!

Pass photo of PassMeFast student Sackson

Wahey! Sackson here signed up for PassMeFast’s 5 hour manual course just before COVID-19 arrived and everything started to get a little weird. Despite dealing with a few delays and a cancelled test because of the pandemic, Sackson stayed positive and kept his fingers crossed for an emergency practical test appointment.

In the meantime, we got in touch with the DVSA to explain that our student was a key worker in the health and social care sector. It took a few weeks, but they sent a test date over and it was time to get Sackson back behind the wheel! He took lessons in Greater London with instructor Emmanuel and was soon feeling test-ready and good to go!

As you can see, it was a case of all’s well that ends well. Sackson passed his test and can now head to work in style thanks to his brand new licence. Congratulations, Sackson! Thank you for everything you do in your role as a key worker!

Earning your licence in 2020

We appreciate that the current lockdown has rained on the parade of a lot of learners planning to pass their driving tests this year. Nevertheless, we at PassMeFast would like to remind you that 2020 is far from over and, as you can tell from this post, the DVSA is still working hard to crown new qualified drivers every week.

If you’re a key worker, PassMeFast can contact the DVSA on your behalf to book you an emergency driving test. (Please rest assured that stringent safety measures have been put in place to protect both examiners and learners.) We’ll also link you up with an instructor in your area that is able to carry out lessons during the lockdown. As an added thank you for all of your hard work, we’ll even throw in a 10% discount!

Even if you’re not a key worker, there’s still time to take advantage of our May discount! Get 5% off any PassMeFast course, even if you don’t plan to start lessons until the lockdown is lifted. Put your name down now to beat the back to school rush! As for us, we’ll hopefully see you next week with a brand new pass photo.

Until then, good luck and happy isolating!
