Our Pass Photo of the Week—Grace from Ipswich

Well hello there! Surprised to see us posting this week? Yes, we are in the middle of a second national lockdown (sigh), but that doesn’t mean PassMeFast has run out of November pass photos already. In fact, we had more than a few pictures of newly-qualified drivers to choose from to provide this week’s bonus edition! In the interest of remaining upbeat and focusing on the positives, then, let’s shine a light on another PassMeFast star pupil.

This week’s top pass photo of the week goes to… Grace from Ipswich!

Someone’s delighted to have earned a pass right before lessons and tests were cancelled—and we don’t blame her!

Grace hails from Ipswich, but due to current living arrangements opted to take her driving lessons in North Yorkshire. The first lockdown put a stop to her previous driving pursuits, so she came to PassMeFast for a 20 hour course that could help her get back into it and become test-ready. Annoyingly, delays resulting from the first lockdown also meant that her existing theory test pass certificate expired. Argh!

Luckily, Grace hadn’t forgotten her stuff and she managed to quickly pass it again. Now that was sorted, it was time to move on to the lessons, which she took with local instructor, Malcolm. Remember, learners are able to get pretty specific about which areas of their driving they need to work on. When Grace signed up for our course, she explained that she wanted to focus on the manoeuvres, independent driving, following a sat nav and dual carriageways. This is exactly what she and Malcolm tackled in the lessons. Soon enough she was feeling confident and ready to hit up the test centre!

Grace managed to pass her test FIRST time! This was extra good news because her appointment was actually scheduled the day before lockdown. Talk about cutting it close! Bravo, Grace!

Looking ahead

Driving lessons and tests are currently on hold in accordance with national lockdown rules. That doesn’t mean you have to shelve your driving dreams for another year, though! PassMeFast is still accepting new students. If you put your name down now, you can get nice and high on the list and ensure you’ll be in one of the first batches of students we get on the road once restrictions are lifted.

Until next time, good luck and happy driving!
