We have a corker of a top pass photo for you this week! Not only is this PassMeFast student an essential worker, but he also managed to pass his test with zero minors! Those of you who have taken a driving test before will know that this is no mean feat. So, without further ado, let’s get to know a little more about this impressive pass story.
This week’s top pass photo of the week goes to… Anthony from Glossop!
Anthony had already built up quite a bit of driving experience before he came to PassMeFast for help. With around 20 hours already clocked up behind the wheel, he decided to go for our 15 hour automatic course. Now, we were already under lockdown when Anthony got in touch, but as his day job involved making parts for ventilators to be used by the NHS, the DVSA was happy to provide an emergency test for this key worker.
Though he hails from Derbyshire, Anthony’s test was scheduled at nearby Hyde test centre, so we set him up with local Greater Manchester instructor Phil. He was able to help Anthony perfect his existing driving abilities and get confident with trickier skills like the manoeuvres. It looks like they were quite the dream team, because this week Anthony passed his test FIRST time with a completely clean sheet! Wowza!
Congratulations on joining the zero minors club, Anthony, and a big thank you for everything you do as a key worker. Enjoy hitting the road as a qualified driver!
It’s common knowledge that lockdown has forced a lot of driving test centres to shut their doors. As you can see, though, quite a few key workers are still managing to secure emergency tests during this time. If you work in a critical sector and need to earn a licence as soon as possible, get in touch with us on 0333 123 4949. We can set you up on one of our intensive courses and contact the DVSA on your behalf.
We also don’t want our non-essential worker readers to feel left out! Quarantine restrictions are slowly lifting and everyone at PassMeFast has their fingers and toes crossed that all driving test centres will soon be up and running. If you’re interested in learning to drive with PassMeFast, you don’t have to wait for lockdown to end to get your name on the list. Give us a ring now! We’ll start organising your course so that everything is ready to go when the time comes.
As for us, we’ll see you next week with a brand new pass photo to celebrate! Until then, good luck and happy isolating!
