PassMeFast 2017: A Lookback

It’s hard to believe that we’ve come to the end of another year! As we say goodbye to 2017, we’re looking back fondly on everything we’ve managed to achieve here at PassMeFast over the last 12 months.

Join us as we review how we’ve grown throughout 2017, and—most importantly—helped more learners than ever to get their licence and get on the road.

New areas

At the start of 2017, PassMeFast covered only one county. Though we remain proud of our Salford Quays home, and had already helped hundreds of learners to pass across all of Greater Manchester’s driving test centres, we still knew there was more to do.

That’s why, throughout 2017, we made it our mission to cover more new drivers than ever before.

We began expanding in summer, with West Yorkshire becoming PassMeFast’s second county back in August. Our fleet in the county quickly grew, and we now proudly cover all of the West Yorkshire driving test centres.

Then, in autumn, we ramped up the pace. October saw us add no fewer than three new counties to our coverage area, as we said hello to South Yorkshire at the beginning of the month, followed by North and East Yorkshire a couple of weeks later.

Most recently, new additions came in the North West. That’s because, in early November, we opened our doors to learners from Cheshire and Merseyside.

Now, at the end of the year, we’re proud to say that our coverage area now includes a massive ten million people.

The journey isn’t over yet, though. So, if we don’t cover you just yet, hold tight! There are more new areas in the pipeline for 2018—just watch this space!

More instructors

A driving lesson

The backbone of any good driving school is their instructors.

At PassMeFast, we’ve always worked exclusively with grade A and B, DVSA-approved instructors. This means that our students can rest assured that they’re in safe hands when they take to the roads.

Meanwhile, PassMeFast also aims to change the game for instructors themselves.

Where other driving schools force their instructors to pay franchise fees and take on minimum or maximum quotas of students, we offer our driving instructors freedom.

With PassMeFast, there are no franchise fees, no minimum commitment, and competitive rates.

It’s no wonder, therefore, to see more and more of them joining us. In fact, there are now 150 instructors in our team—and it’s growing all the time!

New staff members

We’ve already paid tribute to our incredible instructors—but it would be remiss of us not to celebrate the rest of the squad, too.

It’s our superb sales team, for instance, who help match new learners up to their ideal course and take their first steps towards getting their licence.

Meanwhile, all of our students have a dedicated booking agent, who looks after their course from start to finish. They help to find fast-track practical tests, match budding learners to experienced, local instructors, and act as a point of call to deal with any queries or issues.

There’s also our web development team, who work to constantly improve the website and squash any bugs that appear—and, together with our ADI manager and quality control teams, they all come together to make up the heart of the PassMeFast team.

Our wonderful office staff are a very happy PassMeFast family—and, like any family, we’re always thrilled to welcome the new additions. Our family, though, has grown a bit quicker than most. In fact, it’s quadrupled in size this year.

Here’s to everyone who’s joined us this year—and to even more new PassMeFast team members in the future!

On the airwaves

Maybe you’ve just stumbled upon our site, thinking that our name is slightly familiar—but not quite able to put your finger on where you’ve heard of us…

Well, the chances are that you heard it on the radio!

Throughout the year, we’ve advertised on radio stations such as Capital and Key 103 in Greater Manchester and Yorkshire, helping even more people to find out about the new way to learn to drive.

Meanwhile, our Facebook and Twitter accounts have really taken off in 2017—while our ads have even appeared on Manchester Metrolink.

Even more listeners will hear from us next year—so make sure you tune in!

Pass after pass after pass

Of course, the ultimate goal of everything we do here at PassMeFast is, well, to help you to pass—fast. (It is in our name, after all!)

Thankfully, this year, we’ve helped hundreds of learners to ditch their L plates, ace their theory test, pass their practical, and get their shiny, new, pink UK driving licence.

Amongst them were some famous faces… see if you recognise the two well-known musicians in their pass photos below!

Musician passes

It doesn’t matter how famous you are, though—at PassMeFast, all of our learners get the VIP treatment. That means a dedicated booking agent, a fast-track practical (and theory test, if required) as standard, and tuition from some of the best instructors across the north of England.

Add it all together, and you get a lot of new drivers, with PassMeFast pupils passing their practical test every day. That’s an awful lot of pass photos—so, we collected a few into this collage:

50 pass photos

So, to those whose photos above—and the hundreds of other learners who’ve got their licence with us in 2017—we’d like to say a huge congratulations, and wish you all the best for your driving future.

And for those of you who haven’t passed yet—what are you waiting for?! Make 2018 the year you finally get behind the wheel.
