Meet a CX Adviser: Emily

Hello there, readers! We’re back again to help you get to know us here at PassMeFast HQ a little better. Once a month, we introduce a new member of our team in a series of articles we call Meet a CX Adviser.

This month, it’s Emily‘s turn in the spotlight. She first joined PassMeFast in the autumn of 2019, and has already played a role in helping dozens of students to get their licence. Let’s hear from Emily herself!

About Emily

Age: 23

Do you have a driving licence? No

What do you do to relax? In work if I need to relax for a moment, I’ll go and make a coffee and make some time to enjoy my coffee and a snack before getting back to work. Outside of work, I get in my pyjamas and read a book to relax.

What are your hobbies and interests? I try to keep active as I’m really into running and rock climbing. It’s nice to get out of the house and get some fresh air when I go for each run. I’m also a massive book worm and can get lost in a book for hours on end. I’m a keen baker and keep meaning to bring my classic brownies into the office as a treat for everyone. I love to travel and am always planning my next trip as soon as I get back from my last one.

Emily at PassMeFast

When did you join PassMeFast? November 2019.

What made you decide to join PassMeFast? I was looking for a new opportunity and liked the sound of the variety that the role offered as well as the great location at the heart of MediaCityUK. The offices are modern and up to date and the team were friendly from the first time I came to visit the office for an assessment.

What’s your favourite thing about being a CX Adviser? Managing my own workload but also knowing that there’s a great team around me if I need help with anything. Everyone in the office gets along really well; we’re friends as well as co-workers and often spend time together outside of work as well as in work.

What’s the funniest thing that’s happened since you started working at PassMeFast? One word: Zephyr. Our office cat keeps us all entertained every day and the strange noises he often makes never fail to make me laugh. On one late shift he managed to escape from the office and we had to run after him down the corridor to stop him from running loose around Manchester.

What’s your favourite pass story? One of my students had put off driving for years and years because the thought of driving a car made him extremely nervous. He told me over the phone multiple times how much it would mean for him to pass his test; he wanted to overcome his fear of driving and needed to get his licence so that he could pursue his dream job. He ended up passing his test first time and got a new job shortly afterwards.

What’s the most common problem learners come to you with? Lots of our students worry about fitting lessons in around their working hours. We’re able to help them with these worries by finding an instructor who can tailor the course to their availability as the majority of our instructors work evenings and weekends.

What’s the best piece of advice you’d give to new drivers? Refer your friends to PassMeFast before they decide that you’re their new taxi service!

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Emily! Interested in meeting some other members of the team? Check out the links below!
