This month, we’ll be learning more about female instructor Lesley, who joined the PassMeFast team last year and is based in Hampshire. With four years of teaching experience under her belt, Lesley has lots to share. Get to know more about her below!
What age were you when you passed your test? 22!
How many times did it take you to pass? Twice.
How long have you been an ADI? 4 years.
What was your first car? Austin A40.
What car do you drive now? Mini Cooper D.
What transmission is your car? Manual.
What’s your dream car? Porsche Boxster.
What motivated you to become an instructor? Wanting to teach!
Have you taught any family members to drive? Not yet.
What’s your proudest moment as an instructor? Helping someone with Asperger’s get a first time pass!
What’s the most enjoyable thing about being a driving instructor? Meeting different people!
And the most frustrating thing about being a driving instructor? The DVSA!
What’s your biggest pet peeve about other drivers? Lack of respect for learners.
What’s your favourite pass story? They are all special!
What’s the most common thing people fail on? Nerves.
What’s the best piece of advice you’d give to new drivers? Don’t be pressured by other drivers.
When did you join PassMeFast and why? 2020—I like teaching intensive courses.
