Of course, with PassMeFast expanding rapidly across the UK, we’ve always got more instructors ready to profile. This month, we’re heading to Greater London to meet local ADI Anne!
Anne’s been a part of the PassMeFast team since September 2018 and has 17 years of teaching experience under her belt. Let’s hear more about her story below!
What age were you when you passed your test? 18
How many times did it take you to pass? First time!
How long have you been an ADI? 17 years.
What was your first car? Talbot Samba.
What car do you drive now? Ford Focus.
What transmission is your car? Automatic.
What’s your dream car? A convertible Mercedes.
What motivated you to become an instructor? I wanted to prove my ex wrong!
Have you taught any family members to drive? Yes!
What’s your proudest moment as an instructor? Whenever a pupil gets their licence.
What’s the most enjoyable thing about being a driving instructor? Seeing pupils pass is my biggest reward.
And the most frustrating thing about being a driving instructor? Other road users!
What’s your biggest pet peeve about other drivers? Impatience.
What’s your favourite pass story? A 69-year-old passing in her auto!
What’s the craziest pass celebration you’ve seen? Zero faults celebrations are always crazy.
What’s the most common thing people fail on? Observations.
What’s the best piece of advice you’d give to new drivers? Don’t listen to peer pressure.
When did you join PassMeFast and why? September 2018—I was looking for more constant work.
What do you do to relax? Walk.
Do you have any hobbies or interests? Playing the piano, walking and cooking.
